Buenos Aires, ARGENTINA - for our first venture into South America, we chose B.A. to indulge in the world famous steak and Malbec wine.

Iguazu Falls, ARGENTINA + BRAZIL - named one of the seven natural wonders of the world, Iguazu Falls is located on the borders of Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay. They say "Argentina has the show, but Brazil has the views" so we spent one day touring each side. This pit stop quickly became the highlight of our trip!

Rio de Janeiro, BRAZIL - land of samba and caipirinhas! This seaside city has been on my bucket list even before I studied Portuguese in college. When we discovered a nonstop flight back to Houston (and on points!), we bought our tickets and never looked back. 

Antigua, GUATEMALA -  Ok, I admit it. Guatemala never truly hit my travel radar. That changed after seeing photos from a family friend who went to Antigua on holiday (thanks, Casey!)...and I knew I was missing out. So when it was time for my good friend, Dorina, and I to take our annual trip, we decided to go off the beaten path. 

Vienna, AUSTRIA - named top city for highest quality of life in the world for the eighth time, we headed to this regal city to celebrate the New Year in style. Spoiler alert: we are all about Viennese pastries.

Budapest, HUNGARY - Competing with Prague and Vienna, this Central European city doesn't always get the credit it deserves. Budapest is one of four capital cities situated on the Danube River, which divides the region into two cities, Buda and Pest. We came to Hungary in search of "meat and potatoes" and thermal baths. By the end of our trip, we left wanting to extend our adventure.

MUNICH, Germany - Craving sausages, beer, and colder weather, we flocked to this Bavarian capital city to celebrate the New Year.

Mexico City, MEXICO - Foodies rejoice! Just one and a half hours from Houston, CDMX is the ultimate destination for street food, aztec culture, and way too much tequila.

Málaga, SPAIN - you can never go wrong when visiting Andalucía. As the largest city on the Costa del Sol and home to Pablo Picasso, Málaga is the perfect Mediterranean destination to soak up the sun and catch up on your siestas.
